About this module

Connecting with high school students isn't always easy.

‍In Teacher Training, our facilitators share what they've learned from working with young people for over 15 years. But we don’t just talk at everyone for a few hours. Through conversations and practices, teachers will gain insights into the impact of societal expectations of young women and men, as well as a toolkit to have honest and meaningful conversations with them.

Our teacher training workshop helps to improve communication between teachers and students. During this two hour session we give an insight into the experience and impact of gender stereotypes on our young people and the value of deepening social capital with peers.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our highly skilled facilitators deliver an engaging session similar to what students experience in the Tomorrow Man and Tomorrow Woman workshops. This enables teachers to understand the content covered and continue conversations with students post workshop.

We will provide you with a toolkit to continue honest communication, creating more meaningful bonds beyond the room.

Sharing our learnings from 15 years working with teenagers, there will also be an opportunity for questions about the workshop and how to continue strengthening relationships. Follow up workshops are available and can be tailored to suit your school or cohort.

Explore tough topics in a safe, non-judgmental environment (such as school refusals, bullying, pornography, low self-esteem, anxiety, and social media).

Get the chance to ask our expert facilitators questions about strengthening their relationship with students
